The drill bits (hired separately) have a hollow centre that collects the drilled-out material, leaving a clean hole. They are used to create openings for plumbing or electrical installations. They have diamond powder embedded into their surface for extra grinding power. They come in different lengths and sizes depending on the material and cutting requirement.
